Easter 2011

I am going to preface this post by saying, that Jason was right. I should not have bought one of the least expensive digitial cameras that I found. As you'll be able to tell by the picture quality, I got what I paid for. Second, it took 2 trips to Belk's (make that 3 trips, because I'll be going to return a pair of slacks), 1 trip to Kohl's(my parents went right after Evan's party), and one trip to Wal-Mart to get Evan an Easter outfit that fit him and that he would wear. The pink shirt and tie we had for him was a no go. All that being said, we did have a very nice and very rainy Easter Sunday.

After church, we had lunch and an Easter egg hunt at Jason's parents' house. Evan and Payton had to hunt eggs inside the house, because the rain just wouldn't let up. Addi didn't have any interest in hunting eggs. She was too busy playing. I hope everyone had a blessed Easter.

Evan's 7th Birthday Party

To celebrate Evan's 7th birthday, we had a party with our family and friends at Wickham Park. We were really afraid that it was going to start raining, but Evan ended up having a great party.

Payton wanted to pass the drinks out to everyone. She told me that she's pass them out, because she's a nurse and she wanted to take care of everyone.

I think everyone enjoyed Evan's party. I know every mama says this, but I can't believe he is already so big!

Evan Turns 7 and the Lil' Monsters Play Ball

Back in March, I signed Evan and Payton up for a t-ball team with the Salvation Army. Ashley signed Jessi up for the team too. We were ready to get to practice when we found out that our team didn't have a coach. Ashley decided to take on the job. My dad volunteered to be our Assistant Coach.

The Lil' Monster's first game fell on Evan's 7th birthday. The kids all did great! Ashley and Dad did a great job coaching the game too. It was so much fun to watch.

The Salvation Army is a Christian league, so before every game, the teams all join in prayer.

To celebrate Evan's birthday, we brought cupcakes. His teammates sang "Happy Birthday" to him. Jessi would not be outdone by anyone. She's so funny.
