Here's a picture from last year. We had a picnic in the park. It's amazing how much the kids have grown and how much our family has changed in the past year...

And now this little cutie is a part of the family.

On Tuesday, Evan started the Gifted and Talented program. He really enjoyed it. There are 8 kids from our school district from the second grade in the program. They all meet at another elementary school in the district on Tuesday afternoons. I'm so excited that he has this opportunity.
Tuesday evening, Payton had basketball round up. She's playing on a league at a local church. We ran into some friends we hadn't seen in a long time while we were there. I'm excited that our girls are going to be playing b-ball together. I think it's going to be a lot of fun.
Thursday evening, we had family pictures for our church directory. If you know me, you know that I am a big time plan ahead kind of lady. I mean, I have all 4 kids' birthday parties planned out for next year. But for some reason, I didn't plan out what we were going to wear until about an hour before we got our pictures made. Totally not like me at all. I had a feeling that the pictures weren't going to go to well...and I was right. Let's just say when the photographer says that your 2 year-old could be a track star before the session, that's very indicative that things won't be going well. It didn't help that the photographer took quite some time getting us arranged. But, we got through it, and we will now be in the church's newest directory. We also got a free 8 by 10. I am planning to have family pictures made this fall. And yes, I do have our outfits planned out for those.
Friday, my mom, Addisyn, and I took Karsyn to the pediatrician for her 2 month check up. She weighed in at 13 pounds 3oz (90%), was 22 1/2 inches long (50%), and her noggin measured at 15 1/2 inches (50%). Needless to say, nursing has been going well.
And that about sums up our week. I also wanted to mention that I faithfully read your blogs. For some reason, I'm unable to leave comments. Until I get it figured out, know that I am reading!
