What's Been Going On...

My camera cord is still MIA, but I just couldn't wait any longer to blog.  There will be pictures soon though, I promise.  So, here's what's been going on.

• A few week ago, Jason was offered and accepted a promotion.  I am super proud of him and so excited about what this means for our little family of 6.  He's already started at his new store and I think it's going to be a great fit for him.
• Evan is half way through basketball season.  He's doing great.  He's playing on a 3-4 grade team which means more rules to play by.  My nephew, Stephen is on his team.  It's been a lot of fun.  Both Stephen and Evan (and my niece, Emily too) got signed up to play soccer today.  On the school front, Evan got his report card this week and is making straight A's.  He also told us that he can check out any book from the library at school and that he's reading at a middle school level.  Not too shabby for our 8 year-old. =)
• Payton is also half way through her basketball season.  My niece, Jessi, is on her team.  (I am loving that we get to play with cousins!!!)  Their team is doing good.  I'm not totally in love with the league that the girls are playing on, but it's a good learning experience.  Payton also got her report card and is doing great!  She doesn't get letter grades yet...not until next year. 
• Addi got a report card from school this past week too.  She is doing wonderful in school.  I'm really proud of her.  She likes going to school now and loves to play with her friends.  She REALLY wants to play t-ball this Spring.  I think I have Aunt Ashley convinced to coach a team with me.
• Karsyn went to her 18 month check up this month.  I'll give ya'll all the stats on that soon, but we are blessed with a very healthy baby girl. 
• We are looking to find a nice swing set for our back yard.  (I'd love suggestions on which brand is best.)  I'm already plotting and planning lots of cook outs for the summer. =) 
• Speaking of this summer, it looks like we might be taking a trip to the beach.  I'm so excited about that.

Hopefully, I'll either find or buy a new camera cord soon.  =)
