The past few weeks, we've been on a weather roller coaster! We've had anything from spring like days to school being canceled because of ice and snow. In the past 3 weeks, we've had 4 snow days and one holiday. Jason's been working lots of extra hours over the last few weeks. His store inventories today and as you can imagine he's been one busy guy. That adds up to a lot of time for the kids and I to be home with no place to go. School was cancelled again this morning due to road conditions. Luckily as the day has progressed, things have been thawing out. The kiddos and I took the opportunity to break free from the house for a little while. We had brunch at McDonald's, so that we could stay and play for a while. I know I've said this before, but the best time to play in a play area is usually in the morning. That was the case today. The kids had the equipment all to themselves.

Once they finished up their brunch, they got busy playing.

As the kiddos came to the table to take a sips of their drinks, I took a few pictures of them.

| Getting Karsyn to stop and take a picture was just not going to happen. Crazy hair, red cheeks...you can tell this girl plays at full speed. I do love that you can really see her pretty blue eyes in this picture. |

We left McDonald's and then headed to Wal-Mart. Getting out of the house for a couple of hours was good for the soul. It was soooo nice! After today, we are in for a warm up. And maybe, just maybe Spring time will be here.
Your weather sounds like SC weather. I love cold weather, but I am happy to see spring come.
ReplyDeletei think whatever we have weather wise comes your way in a few days. I am so ready for Spring!
DeleteI think we are finally getting warmer weather next week -- just in time for us to leave again :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Hopefully, you'll experience some wonderful weather while you are on your trip.
DeleteI understand what you mean about being on a weather roller coaster! We have had ice and snow and shorts all in the same week. It's crazy! I hoping, though, that we are finished with winter as this week we are supposed to have near 60s everyday. For my swollen pregnant feet that means SANDALS and FLIP FLOPS!!!! LOL :) Lana
ReplyDeleteSandals and flip flops will be a relief for you! I can't believe you are almost there! Your little guy will be here so soon.
