This is a hard post to write, but our family really needs your prayers right now. After a 9 day stint in the hospital, Grandma Shirley finally got to go home on Monday afternoon. As a family, we all believed that she was on the upward swing of feeling better...as much as someone who is in their 80's that has Stage 4 brain cancer can be. Tuesday morning, we got a phone call, the phone call that changed everything. Grandma's fight with cancer is over. She is on her journey home to be with the Lord. I would greatly appreciate your prayers during this difficult time.

ReplyDeleteMany prayers for comfort for you all and a big ol' virtual hug too. I know it is hard saying goodbye and letting go, but we know she is in a better and happier place with no more pain and suffering. It is us who are left behind to grieve that suffer, but our grief just shows how much we loved. She knew how special she was to you all! Love you!
