This week, our little family visited a berry farm. This got the kiddos (especially Payton) very excited. Even though Karsyn couldn't pick any berries, she looked adorable and had a great time. I caught her little dimpled hand in the berry bucket a few times. She LOVES blueberries and couldn't help herself from sampling a few.
Payton and Evan loved berry picking. Payton was very thorough. Evan liked to glance over all the plants to try to find big blueberries.

Addi greatly enjoyed picking blueberries too. She was so happy filling her little bucket up. She's already asked to pick blueberries again about 34 times since we left the farm. =) Daddy gave us great tips on which berries were best for the pickin'.

After we picked a ton of blueberries, we set our sights on the blackberry bushes. Addi wasn't too happy that she couldn't pick the "strawberries." (Blackberries are red before they are ripe.) Once she understood what she was looking for, she was a happy camper once again. We paid for our berries, and the kiddos tried blackberries for the first time. Evan exclaimed, " I LOVE blackberries!!!" We spent about an hour picking berries and plan to do it again soon. We'll have to, because I don't think the crop we picked will last too long, if Evan and Karsyn have their way. =)
