Karsyn is 11 Months!

Yesterday, we celebrated Payton's 7th birthday. It also just happened to be the day that this messy-faced baby girl turned 11 months-old. Yep, a first birthday party is just around the corner for Karsyn Faith. As you can tell by this picture, Karsyn loves to eat. Here she is eating ravioli for the first time and she just loved them.

This is a love she shares with her big sister, Addisyn. And yes, ravioli eating is only done without any clothes. =)

Karsyn is a table food eating girl who loves her veggies. Lima beans, peas, carrots, and zucchini are her favorites. She'll always goes for her veggies first. She also has loved every fruit that we've given her. And much to my own surprise, she is still being nursed. I'm very proud of that too.

Karsyn hasn't weighed in since her 9 month appointment, but I'm thinking she weighs around 23 - 24 pounds. She is wearing a size 18 months in clothes, a size 4 in diapers and in shoes.

She loves to dance! If we tell her to dance, she starts bouncing and waving her hands around. We went to see a band at the library today, and she bounced and clapped her little hands the whole time.

She can briefly stand on her own and loves to cruise the furniture. She can crawl faster than a speeding bullet or pretty close to it. =) She loves to hold hands and walk beside us, and she's attempted a few steps, but she's not a walker just yet.

She is very friendly and very social. She loves just about everyone she meets. She loves to cuddle and snuggle. Usually, when we get a hug from her, she will say "oooooo."

She can say mama, dada, hi, yay, thank you, I love you, Evan, and Addi. This morning, I am pretty sure she said "Here you go" during a little game that we play where I hand her something and then she hands it back to me. That's where she learned to say thank-you. I think she has tried to say water and Nana, but we aren't going to count those quite yet. She is really taking after Payton in the talking department. Payton spoke very early too, she could say around 15 words by the time she was a year-old.

Karsyn's personality is a good mix of Evan and Payton, when they were babies. She's very social and inquisitive like Evan. She loves to snuggle, cuddle, and is a big sweet heart like Payton. Her language skills are also developing like Payton's. That being said, she loves her big sister, Addi. She will pull out all the stops to make Addi laugh, especially in the mini van. She'll squeal, giggle, and make all kinds of sound to get Addi laughing. The two of them laughing is music to my ears.

I know I've said this before, but Karsyn is straight from Heaven. She brings such a sense of peace and calmness to our family. She's always happy and just such a joy!
