Bowling Fun!

A missing camera, a lost camera cord, a computer that wouldn't let me log onto my blog....my goodness!!!!! But, I finally think I am back to blogging for good. Yay!!! I sure missed it and I look forward to catching up on some of my favorite blogs. =) Last weekend, my niece,  Jessi came over and we decided to have some family fun.  We had a super yummy dinner at Zio's and then we headed to the bowling alley.

At first, Addi got a lot of extra help from Payton and Jessi - whether she wanted it or not. =)  Ummm...I do think that's what a big sister and cousin are for...but that's just me.

But, Addi soon let all of us know that she's a big girl and she didn't need any help.  She could even wait for and pick up her own bowling ball.

Addi
And, she certainly could carry her own bowling ball and put it on the "slide."

She was so proud of herself when the bowling pins came down!  It didn't even matter how many. =)

Addi!!!
We decided to let Karsyn give it a try too and she loved bowling!!!  She tried to pick up my spares, I gave her a lot to choose from.  Next time, we'll let her bowl sets of her own.

Karsyn
Karsyn is so much like Evan and Payton.  She loves processes.  She knew she got to bowl once, then she would help me move the "slide."  As soon as she was done helping me, she would go sit down.  She loves having fun in an orderly way. =)

Karsyn
I know this picture is a little blurry, but I thought I was cool.  Evan is super competitive.  He was in it to win it.

Evan
Payton is known for trying fancy and innovative bowling.  She's super cute when she's doing it too.

Payton
Sometimes, she even surprises herself a little when these newly tested tactics work.  She couldn't believe it.

We had an absoulte blast bowling and are looking forward to doing it again really soon.  In fact, it went so well that I am sure that this summer when the Kids Bowl Free program is in session, that I could take all 4 or maybe even 5 kids without Daddy's help.  Speaking of Daddy, he was so proud of himself - he bowled his highest game ever - a whopping 138!!!  Woot woot!  I don't remember the rest of the scores, but here's how we placed.  Daddy took first.  Jessi was second.  Evan was 3rd.  Addi took forth.  Payton got fifth place.  Karsyn and I were in last place.  And seriously, if it wasn't for Karsyn, there would have been an  even bigger point spread. Baby bowls good! =)

  1. We took our niece and nephew bowling at the beginning of January and Dave and I both bowled worse than Tessa (11) and Willem (7). It made me not like bowling very much :) Maybe having Rachel along would have helped my score!
