Trophy Time

The Bruisers

Yesterday evening, the Rec Center hosted an awards ceremony for all of the K-2nd grade basketball teams.  It was a really nice ceremony - there was even a dance contest! The teams didn't get ranked, because it's all for fun, but each of the kids did get a trophy for participation.  Here's Payton with her team the Bruisers.  She's on the front right.  Behind her, is my niece Jessi.  She sure had a lot of fun.  Next weekend we have Evan's basketball tournament and then it's time for Spring Sports.  Evan has already started soccer practice.  His first game is the same day as his basketball tournament....we're going to see how that all works out. =)  A few weeks after that, my sister, Ashley, and I will start coaching Addi's t-ball team.  Payton and Jessi will be the team trainers.  And just in case you are wondering, the leauge we're playing for doesn't keep score and plays by very simple rules.  It's the same leauge Evan and Payton played for a couple of years ago.  My very first post on the blog was about them playing.  Check it out here.  It should be a lot of fun.  It's going to be a busy spring, but we are ready for it!
