Six in Pix - Week 2

Doing a 365 Project is a lot of fun, although it really puts into perspective how quickly time goes by.  Are you ready for Six in Pix - Week 2?  Well, here goes....

June 4, 2014 - My Grandma Paula surprised us with some Irises.  We spent the evening getting them planted in our front flower bed.
June 5, 2014 - Happy Birthday to our Payton Grace!!!  We spent the day trying to make her feel very special.  We took her out to lunch and to get her ears pierced.  She also got to pick out a new top.  Jason took her and her bestie Katelyn to see Maleficent.  I think she had a great day!

June 6, 2014 - The day started off stormy.  For some inside fun, the kiddos painted sun catchers.  Later in the afternoon, we got outside to play.  Karsyn painted the flower.  Evan painted the airplane.  Addi did the hot air balloon and Payton did the rainbow.  I really love finds like these at Dollar Tree.

June 7, 2014 - We grilled burgers then headed to the park when Daddy got off work.  The kiddos really enjoyed the tire swings.
June 8, 2014 - I made my first ever successful bowl of brown beans!!  I don't know why I've never been able to make them turn out before, but they were almost as good as my mom's tonight.
June 9, 2014 - After a morning of basketball camp and an evening of basketball practice, Evan was one tired little boy!  I'm pretty sure he was asleep before his head hit the pillow.
June 10, 2014 - Evan played his first game of the summer basketball season.  Here are both teams, the coaches, and the refs praying before the game.  Our boys got creams 32-8!  Evan got two of the 8 points. =)
And that was our busy, crazy week!!!

  2. Oooo, sun catchers! I remember painting these as a kid. I need to pick some up at the Dollar Store for the kids to do this summer. I also love the way these weekly posts sum up yours and Natasha's weeks so well. And the beans do look yummy...with cornbread right?

    1. Oh yes, we had cornbread. You have to when you eat beans, right? I bet your boys will love painting sun catchers. It was a lot of fun!
