Sunday, we put up our Christmas Tree. The kids were so excited! Here's Karsyn before church in the morning. She could not wait to trim our tree.

We got home from church and took naps. That was wonderful! Then, it was time for our tree to go up. As per our tradition, we baked snicker doodles while we were decorating. We love to drink eggnog and enjoy a cookie when we are finished. (We use bake and break cookies - aren't they easy?) Addi was a little upset that we had to move her playhouse. Daddy decided to keep it in the living room and put lights on it. She loved it!

I put the ribbon on the tree and the kids put all of the ornaments on. They did such a good job. I honestly didn't move one single ornament, nor were any broken. Yay! Here are the kids hard at work.

Karsyn and Daddy put the star on top. And yes, Daddy had a wardrobe change. =)
Once we were finished decorating, I took a picture of each of the kiddos in front of the tree.

The kiddos are all so proud of our tree and proud of our outside Christmas lights. I LOVE how excited and happy it makes them!

DeleteThis is so cute. We are staying with Matt's parents right now, but it will be fun to put our tree up next year....it will make it even more special!

ReplyDeleteThis makes me wish we could put up our tree already but we are waiting until my parents get here and then we're going to go and cut a tree down from a farm so 13 more days! Whoo hoo!!!
