How can it be that Addi is six years-old? Wasn't it just yesterday when I wrote this post about Payton turning six? It's also kind of crazy to think that this blog is 4 years-old! Thanks for sticking around. Now, back to the birthday girl. Since our plans are to have a joint birthday party for our littlest ladies a little later this summer, we let our birthday girl pick whatever kind of fun she wanted to have for the day. Up first, was bowling!

Addi really loves to bowl!
Karsyn bowls like no other. She does a little shimmy, a little shake, and a whole lot of other cuteness.
Payton wasn't all too happy that she had to bowl without bumpers. However, she got a strike on her very first frame and that was a game changer!
Evan is so fun to bowl with. He just enjoys himself so much.
Here's the score at the end of the first game. As you can see, the birthday girl came out a winner.
Evan was the winner of game 2. We left the bowling alley and then headed to our favorite snow cone stand, per the birthday girl's wishes. We enjoyed our first snow cone of the season and then, headed home for a bit to rest. The birthday girl wanted pizza for dinner. After we ate, we headed to the splash pad. (The sun was not cooperating with my picture taking. boo!)
Addi is a such a special girl! I love that we got to celebrate her birthday the way she wanted. =)

This looks like a fun way to celebrate! And I love the splash pad pictures with the silhouettes of your kiddos.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Addi!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Addi! Glad it was great! We love bowling birthday parties. Evan has had two. And for some reason, it seems like the birthday kid usually wins. I guess they just like to shine on their special day. Evan tries to bowl like a professional now which doesn't always help his accuracy. We haven't been bowling in a while so that needs to happen soon. :-)
