Happy Halloween from our little family! This year, we met up with Uncle Billy's family for our annual picture in their front yard. After at least 30 pictures, and that's no trick, we finally got this little treat. Jason and Karsyn are cats. Evan's a ninja. Addi is Elsa. Payton is Captain America. I'm wearing a jack-o-lantern shirt.
Here's a progression of our little family since we started this fun photo tradition.
And here's Uncle Billy as a sorcerer. Aunt Kary just looking cute. Stephen as a cop. Natalie as Carmen Sandiego and Emily as a skeleton.
Check out their crew over the years.
Uncle Terry came with us too. He brought Bat Girl Sarah and Superman Silas.
Here's a bunch of tweens.
After picture taking fun, we all started loading up. I was snapping a few more pictures when I heard a fuss coming from our car. Evan stepped in a big pile of cat scat. He managed to get it all over the floorboard of our car, all over his costume, and all over the car seat. It. was. awful. We had to stop by our house before any more fun could be ensued. Evan put on his costume from last year while Jason bleached out the car. We were quick and made it to our first Trunk-or-Treat just as the rest of our crew was wrapping up. I'm glad they didn't mind waiting for us to make our way around the circle. I really enjoyed seeing all of the themed trunks.
I also enjoyed seeing my big kitty. He's so cute!
The Candy Land trunk was my favorite of the night.
After our first trunk or treat, we took a hop skip and jump over across the street for our second church trunk or treat of the night. The kiddos all were having so much fun.
Karsyn always loves to hold Silas' hand.
After trunk or treating, we did some trick-or-treating in my parents' neighborhood. Payton and Emily always love hanging out on Halloween and every other day of the year.
Nattie and her Addi.
These boys had way too much fun!
Trick-or-Treat!
Our last treat of the night, was that we all headed out to my Uncle Charles' house for a wiener roast. The kiddos really enjoyed the hot dogs and marshmallows.
So did my pretty kitty. Several people said throughout the night that Jason must really love me to dress like a cat. ha ha ha!
The kiddos were all glad to see Nana and Papa.
It was a really fun night. I hope that you had a great Halloween too!

I love this! Happy Halloween :)

ReplyDeleteYou guys looked great!
ReplyDeleteYou all looked great. I'm sorry about Evan's mis-adventures with the cat scat. Karsyn's hair is getting so long. And I've never been to a trunk-or-treat but they look so fun.
