Happy Halloween {2012}

What a fun Halloween we have had!!!  Our Halloween started early, really early, like 4 in the morning early.  I had 4 very excited kiddos who couldn't wait to get their Halloween fun started.  Those same 4 kiddos were all tucked nicely back into bed for a few more hours of sleep.  When it was really time to get up, we had to rush a little to get Evan and Payton to school on time. After, we dropped Spider Man and Bat Girl off at school, we came home and did a little cleaning before it was time to get ready for Evan and Payton's school parties.  Karsyn dressed up like a sailor girl and Addi was a pirate.  They were oh so cute!!

We tried to get to the school in time to watch all the kiddos dance to Thriller, but we couldn't find a parking spot.  Fortunately, the only place over 700 kids can do a dance to a Micheal Jackson song is outside, so we got to see a little of it while we were parking.  Then, it was party time.  Payton's class room was kind of quiet, but Evan's room was buzzing with activity.  He had all kinds of treats and he didn't mind sharing them with his baby sisters.  We tried the best that we could to divide our time among the 2 parties, but it was hard since their class rooms are all the way across the school from each other.  (I'm not sure what I'm going to do in a couple of years when we have 3 parties to go to.)

Here is the very best picture I got of just the 4 kiddos all Halloween.  We were leaving the school and getting ready to start our evening fun.

For dinner, I got us all corn dogs from Sonic.  They are 50 cents on Halloween. Next, we stopped by Uncle Billy and Aunt Kary's house for a photo op.  They have such a beautiful family!

And here's our little family of 6.  I think this is one of the best pictures of the 6 of us all year!  (Thank you so much Uncle Billy!  I made him take about 12. lol)  I think I am going to dress up next year too...well, as long as Jason is off work again. =)

The church that the kids play basketball at hosts a Trunk or Treat every year.  We went there and then went trick-or-treating in Nana and Papa G's neighborhood.  The kids had so much fun trick-or-treating with their cousins.  At one point, I looked at Uncle Billy and told him that it was just going to be our tradition to take our kids out together.  He laughed and said, I thought it already was.  =)

Daddy & Addi

We got the kids home and Daddy checked all the candy. They had a couple of pieces each and then it was bed time.  And I think I may have a candy stash of my very own now. lol.

It was a really great night!  I hope you all each had a fun Halloween too!!!

  1. Wow, good for you for juggling all that! Your kiddos look adorable!

    Oh I love Almond Joys! I snuck the same thing out of my boy's bags. My excuse...I don't think they would like coconut anyways, right?!? ;-)
