Payton Grace is 8!

Yesterday was a very special day for our little family of 6!  It was Payton's birthday!!!  She is a big 8 year-old now!  Payton is a girl who is beautiful from the inside out!

Here's a look at all that she's been doing since her last birthday.  She started taking art lessons and in May, she showed her work off in an art show.

In April, she watched her cousin Natalie at her Spring Color Guard performance.  She of course sat by Emily!  She LOVES Emily so much!  She decided at the show that she wants to be a Flag Girl in high school.  She's going to start taking dance this fall.

She loves art.  She loves dance.  She also loves sports.  This spring, Payton played her second season of soccer.  She's a very good soccer player!  We had a lot of fun at the soccer fields with Evan and Payton.

She's also a basketball girl.  She played in two different leagues this year.  Her purple team won first place!  She loved being a Bruiser with her friend, Jason, and her cousin, Jessi.

In the past year, Payton started and finished the second grade!  Here's a picture of her on her first day of school.  During the first week of second grade, we found out that Payton tested into the Gifted and Talented Program.  She's a very smart girl and she did VERY well on the test.

Payton also went on her first sleep over.  She stayed the night with her cousin Jessi. The girls had a lot of fun!

Payton is such a wonderful daughter!  She's kind and has a very sweet heart.  She loves Jesus and her family very much!  She's a good little sister and a very protective big sister.  This weekend, we are going to celebrate Payton and Addi's birthdays Chuck E. Cheese style.  The girls can't wait!  Happy Birthday Payton!  We love you more than you could ever know!
