Addi and Karsyn love everything Easter. We can't walk into a store without them pointing out bunnies, chicks, and more. We went to the local farm and feed store this morning to check out some chicks. As soon as we walked into the store, we heard the little chicks chirping. We made walking around the store to find them an adventure. The girls were giggling the whole time. Once we found them, the girls were in love! We saw baby turkeys, ducklings, guineas, and of course chicks!
Now, before you think my small town girls have gone country, you should know that Karsyn freaked out when she saw the store's cat. (With all that feed around, the cat helps with the mouse population.) The girls also asked for LOTS of hand sanitizer when we got to the van. We got some strange looks from the cowboys in the parking lot. However, the girls really enjoyed their time with the chicks. =) Later in the day, I went on the hunt for Evan's birthday cupcakes. His soccer team will be enjoying them as an after game snack tomorrow morning. Surprisingly enough, all I could find were bunny cupcakes. I knew that would never do for my manly little guy, but there were no other options.
I asked the sweet bakery worker if she had any more boyish cupcakes and she told me that she would give me whatever kind of toppers that I would like. I chose soccer.
Evan liked the soccer cupcakes much better than the bunnies. I'm sure his team will really enjoy them tomorrow after the game. Hope you had a great Friday!

That sounds like a fun morning with baby animals. And I'm glad you got some soccer toppers. I can see how bunnies may not have gone over so well!!!
