This morning, Addi had her very first field trip with her preschool class. They went to the pumpkin patch. Addi was so excited when we dropped her and her car seat off this morning at school. She goes to a church preschool, so they took a 15 passenger van. Karsyn and I dropped Evan and Payton off at their school, and got back in just enough time to join in on the caravan. A very special guy left work to meet us there.
The two preschool classes filed into the main tent. They stopped to take a group picture.
Then, Ms Trish handed animal feed out to all of the kids. Addi and Karsyn either dropped their food in the cages or handed Daddy and I the feed and told us which animal to feed. There was no direct contact. Ha!
When Addi and Karsyn were out of feed, they played with the little pumpkins for a while.
Then, it was time for the hay ride!
After a fun hay ride, the girls enjoyed playing in the hay. Hopefully, they won't get too itchy later.
Addi's class was called over to the pumpkin area. They were all allowed to choose one pumpkin to decorate later this week. The girls played a little more after that and then it was time to go home.
Hopefully, our little family of six will be able to make it too the pumpkin patch later this week, it's so much fun!
I get to chaperone Sam's first field trip to the pumpkin patch on Thursday. I can't wait! Hopefully he has as much fun as Addi and Karsyn did. And my kids don't feed the animals either :)
ReplyDeleteI hope y'all have a great time!!! Can't wait to see puctures!
DeleteAwe, this brings back memories of Evan's preschool days! I chaperoned and drove kids to his class trip to the pumpkin patch. And how very lucky is Addi that her sweet daddy joined in too. :-)
ReplyDeleteShe was so excited to see Daddy! I'm glad that he got to go too!
