My #5

Payton - Fall 2013
Last week, Payton started her fourth season of basketball.  I absolutely love watching her play!  She's a little shorter than most of the girls, so she doesn't run up the score.  But, if you see a blue-eyed, piggy tailed girl coming at you, you better watch out!  Payton plays some crazy good defense.  This morning, she was in full on ball stealing mode.  Two of the other team moms tapped me on the shoulder during the game this morning to tell me how much they love to watch my little defensive specialist. =)

She loves to play and we all love to watch her! Here's a look at all of Payton's basketball seasons.

Payton - Fall 2012

In 2011, we were a family divided.  Payton played on the green team and Jessi played on the blue.  We cheered for both teams!!!!

Here's Papa with both of the girls in 2011.  They just found out they were playing each other for first in the tournament.  Pay's team took the win!!!
Watching Payton play for the last couple of years has really been so much fun! I'm so glad that she enjoys playing so much! I can't wait to watch her play for the rest of the season and for the seasons to come!

  1. I love it! Payton is a beautiful girl who can do anything she puts her mind too. I think if Evan ever met her, he'd be in love. Haha! We are thinking of doing basketball this winter which will be our first time except a basketball clinic at the YMCA. I have been nervous about basketball, but Evan always proves he can handle it. :-)

  2. Thank you Sherry! I think that Payton would feel the same way about him. =) Of all of the sports that the kids play, basketball is my favorite. I think ya'll will really enjoy when Evan starts playing. He always look so determined in all of his sports pictures, so I'm sure he'll do great!

  3. I love that Payton is so into playing basketball. And the fact that is is solid on defense is awesome! I feel like everybody always wants to score but without a strong defense, you won't win. Way to go Payton!!!
