Our little family had a great Christmas. It was a little before 5:30 in the morning when Karsyn came into our room and said, "Santa ate all of his cookies, drank all of his eggnog, and unplugged our inflatable." Jason and I couldn't help but giggle a little. She did it in her little animated way and it was so cute. Before we knew it, all of the kids were up and at it with wrapping paper flying.
As you can see, we plugged our inflatable back in. That was something a couple of little ladies HAD to have. ha ha ha!
After we opened presents and ate breakfast, we went over the river and through the woods to Grandma Beverly and Papa Floyd's house. We took a few pics before we opened presents there. Here's our little family.
Uncle Brian and Aunt Stephanie.
Papa Floyd, Grandma Beverly and all of their grand grands.
I liked their pose a wee bit better than ours, so we tried it out too. =)
Then, it was present time. There were more than a few!
After we opened presents, Uncle Robert came over. Then, we had brunch. Shortly after we ate, we had to head home. Jason and Evan packed their bags and left for Dallas with Papa Gene and Grandpa James. The girls and I grabbed Nana and headed out to see Grandma Paula and Grandpa Chuck. Later that evening, Jason sent me this picture. The guys were all check into their hotel. A very fun day ahead was awaiting them.
Even though our boys skipped town on Christmas, we still had a great one. I hope that you all did too!

Lance was looking over my shoulder while I was reading this and he kept saying "presents!". :) too cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a great Christmas! 5:30 AM is really early, but it looks like it was worth it! XOXO
ReplyDeleteI have debated having Santa wrap presents just to make the fun last a little longer! Maybe next year! Looks and sounds like y'all had a great Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteOur kids are obviously the anomaly as Sam slept until 8:40 and Rachel until 9:10 on Christmas Day. Dave and I joke it's their Christmas gift to us which is nice because I think I would be a grumpy mom at 5:30 on Christmas morning.
ReplyDeleteYikes, that was an early start to Christmas! I have been waiting for the year that mine start getting up really early, but it still has happened. Your Christmas Day (as do all your holidays) looked so festive and full of family and love. I love that the girls had to have the inflatable Santa. Too cute!
