This week, the girls had Watch Week at dance. Here's Addi in ballet. She did so good! Addi's class has a lot of competitive dancers. I was worried that it might make things a little harder for Addi, but she did great. Her teacher said that this class was advanced and they'll be doing a harder dance for recital. In tap, Addi really did her thing. She's quite the little tap dancer.
And then, there was Miss Karsyn. Now, let me tell you about her. During most classes, she is a ham. She has great facials. During Watch Week, she was a toot. This picture was the most that she danced....for the entire night! Ugh!!!
Payton and Sarah's class was later in the week. Both girls did great! Payton loves jazz class. I could tell when she was dancing, because she really got into it. She picked out which dance the class did first. As much as I loved watching her dance, I also really enjoyed watching her interact with her friends. They would all give each other high fives and hugs when they did something well.
This week, Addi and her best buds were featured on their school website. They all won character awards for good behavior in class. Addi takes being good at school VERY seriously.
This week, and just about every week leading up to Christmas, we've had to make a stop by the dollar store after church. Jason ran in to get class party goodies and tape, while the kiddos and I took selfies.
This week, we went on horse drawn carriage rides. This is Shorty and Slim. They were beautiful.
Guess which sibling doesn't like to be cold?? Ha ha!!! Right as the kiddos and I were loading up on the carriage, Jason called and said he was getting off work. So, I took a spin with the kiddos. Then, we all went for a second time when Daddy got there.
This week, Karsyn and I had our Christmas parties at our preschool. I was a little nervous about how the parties would go. I made the suggestion to do a Polar Express themed party to the director and we rolled with it. We also sang Christmas songs for the parents. I was nervous how it would all fall into place, but it went great. I was soooooo glad that it worked out so well. That's been what's going on this week with our little family.

Ah, I have missed reading your blog and love catching up. It is a crazy season of life, isn't it? Was it crazy for you going from two to three children? ;-) Anyone, I love that Karsyn's spunky personality. So much like Brody. I would love to see her and Brody and Rachel together. It would be hilarious. I love the sleigh ride. We haven't done that. We did do a train ride to see Christmas lights and that will probably be a new tradition for us in this area because they are phenomenal. Hope I can catch up a little more here. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, a Brody-Rachel-Karsyn meeting... We MUST do this!!!
DeleteI love the support you witnessed in Payton's class. I sure hope Rachel gets to find a group of girls like that as she matures.
ReplyDeleteRachel kept running up to us during her Watch Week and getting distracted. I'm glad that I can tell she normally loves dance and listens to her teacher because she sure wasn't cooperating that week.
