Happy St. Patrick's Day {2014}

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I hope you haven't been pinched.  St. Patrick's Day usually falls on Spring Break for our little family.  We always try to do something festive and fun.  Here are my little lucky charms

This one was a top contender for a while.  I had to take a LOT of pictures to get the other two.

For a fun green treat, I got the kiddos Sour Apple Slushes from Sonic.  They really enjoyed them!

For fun, we do what we normally do on St. Patrick's Day - go to the park.  We went to our favorite park first, but another family at the park had a very aggressive dog without a leash.  I didn't want to take any chances, so we drove to our next favorite park.  The kiddos didn't seem to mind at all.

After our fun, we came home for dinner and enjoyed a nice evening at home.  Now, here's a St. Patrick's Day Flash back.

2009

Here's Evan and Payton with Jesse and Katelyn.  We met with them plus Kim and Baby Levi at the park for a picnic.  I was pregnant with Addi. =)  It was a warm Spring Break and the air conditioner in our car went out.  With it getting warm, we got our car in the shop that day to get it fixed.  The next week, we had a huge snow storm. Ha!

It was our first St. Patrick's Day as a family of five.  This is one of my favorite pictures from that time.

I had just got my Facebook account and decided to have a St. Patrick's Day reunion with some high school friends that I hadn't talk to in years.  We had a picnic, decorated cupcakes, and spent a lot of time playing in the park.  It was a lot of fun.

2011
It was our last St. Patrick's Day as a family of 5.  I was pregnant with Karsyn Faith. That was one of the few St. Patrick's Day that we didn't go to the park.  We did go out for BBQ.

2012

It was our first St. Patrick's Day as a family of 6. It was a first for Karsyn. For some reason that I don't understand now, I decided to turn our pictures black and white that year.  I'm scratching my head at this one.  I just don't have a clue. LOL!

Last year, St. Patrick's Day was on a Sunday.  We did a last minute scramble to find Karsyn a dress that had any amount of green in it.  Daddy did a last minute run to Wal-mart and this little dress was the best that he could find.  This was the VERY best picture I got that year. Ugh!!!

And that brings us back to this year.  I think this is my most favorite St. Patrick's Day picture ever!!!!  I am so lucky to be their mama!
