A while back, I asked you all to pray for our little family. I want to let you know that God answered those prayers in the best way possible. About three weeks ago, Jason was offered and accepted a new position at work. Yay! He's at a new location that's only about 10 minutes from home. (He was close to 40 minutes away.) He has a new schedule that is absolutely wonderful for our family life. As you know, making the decision to change jobs can be very, very, VERY stressful. It was especially stressful this time for many reasons that I won't go into here, but I can say they have all been resolved and this is a very positive change for our family. Thank you for your prayers!
Yesterday, Payton and Karsyn came down with an icky tummy bug. Payton seems to be past the worst of it all. Karsyn's still pretty sickly. Tonight, Evan came down with the virus. Oh boy! He has his big 5th grade graduation on Thursday, so I'm praying that he feels better by then. The kiddos aren't the only ones who aren't feeling well. The girlies accompanied me to the doctor this morning. I have bronchitis. Ah! I know there is never a convenient time to be sick, but my goodness, this sure isn't it.
Between coughing fits and cleaning up pukies last night, I was able to go sign Payton up for summer cheer leading. Addi is going to try the class out on the first night. She can't decide if she wants to take it, but Payton REALLY wants her to. Payton wanted to try something different this summer and this sure will be. I thought this was going to be a laid back class at the rec center, but I think the girls are really going to be learning. Late in the summer, the squad will be performing at a WNBA game. That will be so much fun!
While I'm updating, I should let you know how my diet is going. As of now, the scale isn't moving much. I've hit a plateau. Grr!!! I've been reading a lot about how to break through, so hopefully I'll make some progress soon.
Evan and Payton are down to the last week of school. I'm so excited!!! I'll be making a Summer Fun List soon! Hope you all are having a great night!!!

Tracy, I'm so glad your husband's job worked out! Yes, changing jobs can be very stressful. I have an entire post to do about that myself. CHANGES!!! I hope everyone that is sick gets to feeling better and that no one else gets sick in the meantime. :)
ReplyDeleteMy kids got a stomach bug this week, too! I hope yours are feeling better!
