Just Another Manic Monday

I had my day all planned out when I got up this morning. I was going to devote my day to doing laundry and buying groceries. Addi had her day planned out too.  It was hat day at her school and at 6:30 this morning, she brought her Hello Kitty Hat and shirt to my bed and asked me if she could get dressed.  She looked way too cute!

Jason had training at work and his hours were 9-5.  It's very rare for Jason to work those hours.  He loved that it meant that he could drop Addi off at school on his way to work.  Evan and Payton go to school half an hour later on Monday than they do the rest of the week, so he wasn't able to take them.  Right after I got Addi ready and took her picture, I got a call from her school.  They needed me to sub.  I was more than happy too, as long as I could bring Karsyn along and as long as I could come in after Evan and Payton's drop off.  That was fine with the director, so Karsyn had her kinda/sorta first day of school.

I really didn't have time to take pictures at school.  We had a class of 16 three and four year-olds.  For the most part, the class was pretty good.  One little girl decided that Karsyn was her new best friend.  She kept running her hands through Karsyn's hair and telling her that she was "weally cute!"  On the playground, the little sweetie chased Karsyn.  I couldn't help but giggle.  It was like a scene from the old Pepe Le Pew cartoons.  Karsyn and I stayed on the playground with Addi's class.  I loved getting to watch Addi and her buddy Brady play again.  The teachers told me again about how they play together every day.  They both had huge smiles the entire time.  Karsyn joined in on the fun!  She loves Brady too!

After school, the the girls and I did get a few groceries bought, but I'll still need to get back to the store this week.  As for laundry...well, I'm getting that done now.
