Karsyn is a bit of a complex girl. When it comes to adults, she's very shy. When it comes to children, she is VERY social. Last week at work, I got a phone call from a parent inviting Karsyn and I out to lunch. Karsyn was so excited, that she woke up at 5:30 this morning. She spent the whole morning talking about her play date. She packed juices boxes in her back pack for herself and her friend. She picked out a special outfit. She couldn't wait! After school, we met our friends at McDonald's. The girls were so happy to see each other. They couldn't stop talking and giggling. I made an awesome impression by dropping my pop and spilling it everywhere. Yeah, I'm cool like that. =) Karsyn and her little friend played so good together! It just amazes me how much she's grown up this year! She went from being a toddler to a preschool girl who gets invited out by friends! I thought I would be sad when my last baby was no longer a baby, but I am sure enjoying Karsyn in this stage right now.
Cute! I think play dates are probably a little further out for Brody. He is so shy with both adults and kids. He is just too much like his momma sometimes. Sigh.
ReplyDeletePayton and Addi were very shy (and still are!) Evan has always been super social and talkative. I think Karsyn might be following in his footsteps. It seems like he always had play dates during his preschool years.
DeleteOkay, I totally laughed when you said you spilled your pop! I would so do that too. Ha ha ha!!! Also, I've been trying to get up at 5:30 a few days a week and I'm having a hard time with it. Maybe I should be arranging playdates for myself to help motivate me!
