Four Things About My Four

Karsyn Faith
1. My baby girl is getting big!  And doesn't she look way too cute in this little outfit?  My sweet blog friend Sherry told me about a company named Lolly Wolly Doodle a few months ago.  They have the cutest clothes ever!  If you like them on Facebook and Instagram, you can catch great sales!  I got this sweet little outfit for only $12.  At that price, you better believe my girls have matching sister outfits and I also got one for a special little girl whose birthday is coming up.  Check them out and check out Sherry's blog!  She's one of my most favorite blog friends!

2. Karsyn is in the beginning stages of potty training. She's telling us when she goes, just after the fact.  She was very excited when I bought her Dora the Explorer panties and can't wait to wear them.  I have a feeling that once she has a sucess, that the process of potty traning will go quickly. She's ready!

3. Karsyn is one talking girl!  I love knowing what's on her little mind.  We were looking at old pictures the other day and she asked, "Where's Evan's glasses?" I told her that he didn't have them yet and so she asked, "Did he leave them in the van?"  I loved that she was using so much reason.  We also get sentences like this sometimes "Daddy hurt my feelings." or "Go away Addi!" Yikes!!!

4. Karsyn loves being helpful!  No matter what I'm doing, she asks, "Can I help?"  She especially likes helping load the dishwasher.

Addisyn Hope

1.  Addi is getting ready for her first gym meet.  She's working on a bar routine and a floor routine.  She is doing such a good job!  Her gym meet is a couple of months away.

2. Addi is also learning routines for her dance recital in May.  She'll be tap dancing to Be Our Guest from the movie Beauty and the Beast.  Her ballet routine is going to be a song from the movie Frozen.  She's way too cute!!

3. Addi is doing so good in speech!  Twice this week, I was brought to tears when she was talking to me.  She's progressing so much!  I am so thankful that the Lord is answering our prayers.

4. Addi has been on a big Dora the Explorer kick lately.  She's always pretending to be Dora and Karsyn always pretends to be Boots.  It's so fun to watch!

Payton Grace
1.  Payton won a character award at school yesterday.  Her teacher awarded her a Top Dog Character Award, because Payton is always being helpful!  I'm a proud mama!

2. Payton is also learning a routine for the dance recital in May.  She'll be doing a ballet dance to My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion.  I got to peak into her class on Tuesday and she looks so beautiful dancing.  I will be in tears recital night.

3. Payton is so excited that she'll be going to her very first slumber party in a couple of weeks.  And this might surprise you, but it's not with our family.  Shocker I know!  She'll be staying the night at our best friend family's house for Katelyn's birthday. They are like family, so I feel pretty comfortable.

4. Pay is doing really good in school.  It's the first year that she's had letter grades and she's been making striaght A's all year long!

Evan shoots.  He scores!

1. Evan had his last regular season basketball game today. His team has a BYE week next week and then it's tourney time!  It's so hard to believe that he'll be playing middle school ball next year.  We are going to look into ball camps for this summer.

2. Evan is also doing very good in school. He's making straight A's too!  I am so glad that the transition of skipping the 4th grade has been smooth for him.

3. Evan cannot wait for Spring Soccer to start.  He'll start practices at the end of this month.  Crazy, right?  Evan and Payton both will be playing U-10.  It's going to be a crazy busy spring, but it's going to be a lot of fun.

4.  Evan went to his best friend Troy's birthday party this afternoon.  It was at a really fun place called Sky Zone.  It's an indoor trampoline park.  It was fun getting to watch Evan play with a bunch of other boys.  He really wants to go back.  I'm not sure if it's a place that we'll take our littlest girls any time soon, but we'll have to do a big kid date before too long!

And that's four things about my four!

  2. Awe, thank you for the shout out! You are one of my favs too! I always love learning more about your kiddos and always find something new that is similar to mine. That Karsyn sounds like such a character for sure, and Addi does sound so sweet. Payton and Evan always seem so similar with how caring and kind-hearted they both are, and Evan and Evan are so similar with being so smart and good at sports.

  4. I love this idea for a post Tracy!

And I love when Rachel says, "Daddy yelled at me." For some reason it makes me laugh :) It is so cute to hear what they choose to express.

I celebrate Addi's progress in speech with you. Thank God for such improvement.

I hope you will be able to take videos of Payton and Addi's recitals. That way the rest of us can join you in crying :)

I can't believe you are already able to look ahead to Spring activities. That just seems so unreal to me with all our snow!
