Okay, so this doesn't have anything to do with the rest of the post, but I've been growing my hair out and it's starting to get long. Yay! (And why yes, I really REALLY need to go get new high lights!) Today was a beautiful day! I decided to take my littlest ladies to the park right after Karsyn and I picked Addi up from school. It was a great surprise for both girlies!
When we pulled up to the park, Addi told me that she wasn't scared of the big slides any more. Then she ran and zoomed down the big blue slide.
I love the static in her hair! Karsyn told us that she was going down the small 'ellow slide. =)
It didn't take much convincing on Addi's part to get Karsyn to go down the big blue slide.
Karsy's hair went crazy too! (Addi and Papa Gene always call Karsyn, Karsy!)
The girls LOVED climbing up the rock wall too!
They also had a lot of fun on the merry-go-round.
We're in for another cool down soon, so I'm going to try to take advantage of these warms days as much as possible. I sure love getting outside with these two little ladies.
Your hair looks awesome! I'm growing mine out too so I can guess how excited you are to finally have some length!

Oh thank you! Growing your hair out can be such a long process! It's fun when it actually starts to get close to where you want it to be. I think our sun is soon going to be replaced with snow. It's in the forecast. boo!

DeleteYour hair looks amazing! I feel like I am always on an unintentional grow my hair out cycle. I don't go to the beauty shop very often and just treat myself to a really good haircut about once a year or so. My hair grows really fast though so I get it cut up to my shoulders and then the rest of the year it is always somewhere between that length and middle of my back. Haha! If it gets longer than that, I absolutely have to go have a cut because I can't stand it. I just can't figure out what to do with long hair. :-) I love that the girls had a nice day at the park. This week is so lovely here with temps getting up in the 70's today. I wish I could skip work and get outside more with the kids. Sigh. Enjoy the sunshine for us!
ReplyDeleteSherry, sometimes we are so much alike that it's scary. lol. My hair lady only sees me about once or twice a year. I haven't been in since June. I got high lights right before we went to Florida. I need to try to get back in soon...I've been saying that for two months though. lol.
