Perseverance

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines the word perseverance as the quality that allows someone to continue trying to do something even though it's difficult.

This morning at school, Evan, Stephen and the rest of their basketball team were all given character awards for having perseverance this weekend at the basketball tournament.  They might not have come in first place, but they NEVER gave up!  You can read all about the tournament here.

I know that I say this a lot, but I am so proud of these boys!

  1. It is definitely okay to say that a lot! We need to be supportive of these boys and encourage perseverance and hard work. I am so behind on my post writing that I have written nothing about Evan's whole basketball season which is now over. I have got to get on that because it was a fun and rewarding experience for us all. :-)
